Shira Horenstien is a designer and artist (BA industrial design, Bezalel, 2020) That works on the range between designing holistic products to the home environment and one of a kinds for commercial spaces. Most of her work presents a dialogue of balance between matter and spirit , and origins from a deeper mystical story.
After her BA degree, Shira took part in the Bezalel alumni “green house” program, in which she exhibited in the JLM design week 2021, aside a few of her individual work that engage in material and local culture and mystiques. Also, Shira is a part of the Rothschild Center’s professional training program founded 2020.
Shira exhibited alongside the 'Miss production' collective in the ‘fresh paint’ fair- in which the emphasis was on producing products with a local Israeli character, using raw materials that represent the industrial, Israeli culture. In collaboration with various Israeli companies.
aiming to re-use and re-purpose existing materials and add a sense of sustainability to the iconic industrial local scene.
Nowadays providing final consultation to various projects in the fields of graphic design, products design, cmf design, exhibitions, product strategizing within the sustainability domain, art direction, concept walls and spaces execution and community based art project in public space.
